| Bio: | D'journal is mostly a collection of art... And other such jazz. On the topic of comics, over several years, I have found that those funniest things that sometimes make the papers within comics often come from real life, and the most hilarious things are most likely to be seen by you in the most commonplace of places - at home, at work, at school, or anywhere that is along such lines. How often do you see something odd and funny, in it's own odd way, such as someone walking face first into a lamp-post happen? (Yes, you've got to feel sorry for the person doing so, but there's a certain comical effect in this, isn't there?) Or someone waste New Year's in a comical position or anywhere else? Or someone eat lunch with their self-proclaimed 'stalker'? Or even someone slam their head against a computer keyboard and end up staring at it with the sign 'Spellcheck Complete' blinking in their face? So think about that, and realize that what you find in comics is funny, and must always remain as a humorous aspect in your life, but remember that the funniest instances may happen - are most likely to happen, even! - in your life, near you, in the most boring of places. Remember that fact, and be ready to laugh when you turn the corner - you may see someone run over by a car! (No, I'm kidding on that last one. But really, be ready to laugh when you turn the corner, because you're quite likely to see something hilarious!) Almost all of my non-art posts are now hidden away for people who either understand them or show an interest in the topic to see; unknown people don't get to read. However, art searchers have no need to fret - you can see all the sketches and work.  | ||||
